    Brake vaccume sensor.

    Anyone ever had any issues with this part. It is next to the brake booster in the vac line from the intake to the booster. I was wondering if it went bad what would the symptoms be. Codes and physical symptoms.

    pretty sure ive pulled the motor out twice and never seen that

    Ive done plenty of work on 02's, 03's, and mine (04') and never once seen one on an A4, not even a B5. Only car I have seen with that is the Mk5 R32

    It is behind the firewall, next to the brake booster (or as audi calls it brake servo), if you follow the vac line from the intake to the firewall, then otherside to the bosster it is on the vac line going into the booster.

    My bad it is only on tip (auto) equipped cars, it is part of the brake vac system, which is not used on manual trans cars. My 04 6 spd does not have it, only the 03 TIP.
