Would aftermarket exhaust system for 2002-2005 fit on a 2006???

Just wondering .. My car was just totaled out and i'm looking at buying a 2006 Audi A4 2.0 T Quattro speed manual. I just purchased this system, and I was wondering if anyone has done this.

    The system is located here..
    http://www.performancepeddler.com/de...CT_ID=MAG16601

    It's the Magnaflow 16601 system.

Thanks for any information.. Any modifications could be done to make it fit if not?

The downpipes for the 1.8T and 2.0T are different. While I'm not familiar with the specifics of the Magnaflow system, an exhaust designed for the 1.8T will not work on the 2.0T.

You say you just purchased the exhaust. Any way of exchanging it with the company and getting the correct exhaust system for your next car?

It's past the return date.. Is there anyway to modify the system so that it will work? Think a muffler shop could work around it and make it fit?

If you were gong to a shop for modification anyway, I'm sure they could get it to fit.

forgot to add, ya downpipes will not fit, but if you just want the mufflers, those will fit because they are all the same size. Piping will not be an issue as any decent muffler shop can route the new piping or make some.

x2 - you may have to pay more for a little custom/extra work, but it should be fittable with some ingenuity from the shop.

Good. The Magnaflow system actually didn't come with a new downpipe, so I was using the stock on on the other.. so it should work okay.

    Thanks for the information
