Do you have an LCD screen or not

I've been debating this with a few friends and it seems that the LCD is pretty rare for cars 99.5 and older. Just curious which particular years had them and whether it is the 2.8 or 1.8t

I've heard it was the 2.8's that had them as an addon feature. I know i dont have one in my 97 1.8T

I also just noticed that there's a difference the the clusters. It appears as though the clocks(analog ones) have different prints, could also be the view. But they look to be in a little different location.

My 99 prefacelift does.. it was perfect then I saw the thread on here from the guy that would repair them. A week or so after that they started going out.. they go in and out, I wondered if the cold had something to do with it but probably not if it's a common issue.

I can deal with it.. for now.

i have a 1998.5 and i have the LCD on my cluster... doesnt work at all though. all the pixels are on at the same time...all the time!! its great!!!
