so i posted a thread bout my cat comming off its gasket, so i took my car to the shop had my whole exhaust done none resonated with magnaflow set up. i told the guy to just temp weld the cat to the gasket mean while i get my TP. after waiting for 4 dayz my car wasn't ready, so i had to leave wrk and go on my lunch and make his A** work. finally he welded everything and i left the shop with just the magnaflow and no tips. due to him ordering the wrong one's. i was satisfied with the car. it sounded loud, beefy, but still respectful. so i go back to the shop this past sat and he puts on the tips but he cut em because they would stick out to far. finally my car was done and looked great. but i turned on my car and it actually quiet down a lot. any ideas why that would happen? p.s can it be because he cut the pipping short to the point where there's only 1in of room from magnaflow and the splitting of the tips? so when i step on it u can hear the pressure of the air trying to split between each tip so it does a whistling sound. could dat have quiet it down?? P.S moral of the story is, leave while u can lol...
