    ECS Snub Mount

Ok so I read the "how to install" on the FAQ link. I thought you had to take off the front bumper though? My friend told me you had to but he had a B7 S4. Is this true or is it as easy as the DIY says it is?

Also any advice or things to watch out for on the install? Thanks!

    Re: Snub Mount Questions

Snub mounts are really easy to install you do not have to touch the front bumper at all. It shouldn't take you any more than a 1/2 hour to do. Really easy.

Yep - piece of cake and no bumper removal required.

    Re: Snub Mount Questions

install takes about ten min. jack up the front of your car on jack stands. take off your belly pan and look up at the snub mount that is bolted to the engine. Its three allen head bolts. remove the mount, put the OEM snub mount in a vise and pull it off. Install your new one in place of the old one, I did a light coat of anti-seize as lube. reinstall your new snub mount. You will have to loosen the 3 nuts on the "O" ring on the front bumper that the snub fits into. Snug up the nuts on the O ring, put the car back on the floor, start and let the car idle for a min. Now tighten the nuts for the O ring bracket and your good to go. It may take a few adjustments to get the O ring bracket centered but youll notice a huge difference. I hope this helps a little
