Some tips for pre-cat O2 change?

I took a look yesterday and it seems like it might be a PITA. Here is what I got so far and would like some more advice.

    - Warm the car some
    - Get both out from the top
    - use lots of extensions

Do I need to use an O2 socket?
Do I have to remove either heat shield?

For driver's side: After you've removed the coolant reservoir and accodian hose, remove heatshield bolts (IIRC 5mm hex)and shift heatshield to the right. This will give you "enough" room to work. You'll see the EGT is right above the B2S1. You'll need a 7/8 socket. Use elbow joints, extensions, etc....you'll get to it. Expect to have a few scratches on your hands.

Don't warm the car. It'll be too hot to work on. You shouldn't have any problems removing the O2's. They would have been installed with antiseize from the factory.
