If you look at the guys feedback numbers he has only had a few sales in the past year or so and one of the guys said its a cheap replica of the BT for a subaru. I would be worried when spending this much money when you don't have proof its reliable.

My experience with knockoff mitsu turbos have been that they're hit or miss, for the most part they are unreliable with very few people getting lucky and having them last a while. Definitely not worth it with the time it takes to change them on an S4.

Having done a turbo swap there is no way I would put this junk on my car. Way too much time to replace the parts and $1,000 is not a cheap part to test out either.

If I had a Supra or an A4...you bet your ass I'd buy these. Not worth it on our cars though, there is way too much labor involved when they fail.

why the fuck is that wastegate vacuum line going back INTO the turbo, that's a huge kaboom waiting to happen. Also, in a few of those pictures they show real borg warner k04's, and some pictures with the chinese ones.

i wonder if the real chras will fit from the BW turbos into these. If so that would be a pretty cheap set of k04s. only issue would be the wastegate on how well it was made.

BTW are BW ko4s ball bearing? if not why cant we rebuild them with bearings and make them last longer?

BW K04's are journal bearing and not ball bearing.

The Chinese turbos for Mitsu's are a hit or miss. I've seen some that lasted a long time and some that blew within just a few miles. It's all up to you if you want to risk it. Personally I would not do it no matter how good the deal may seem.

EDIT: by the way, i believe XS Power (the seller) is the UK counterpart of SSAC...and from what i've read online, someone got a turbo that had the hot side and cold side glued together. of course it blew.

Well where does BW make their turbos... almost everything has been outsourced to China or asia anyways, so what if they are the same factory. DO they still make BW turbos in America? Or where do they make them..

I WOULD try those out if I had the money. I've been having only bad luck with my S4 so why not.
