you would have to do it with a chip. just upgrading the injectors could flood the engine

stock injectors are good unless your going big turbo. Don't waste your money it'll probably end up doing more harm than good. At least that's what I was told.

    Re: New fuel Injectors??

I heard the forge "spacer" causes more problems than just the nice noise it makes.

I have forge DV but I am going to switch it out for a AWE one. If i were doing it all over a again i would go AWE becuase requires no maintenance...supposedly down the road i will have to deal with the forge.

    Re: New fuel Injectors??

i have read somewhere that you actually lose power with the spacer.... i cant find the thread though. ill keep searchin.

I remember when i asked my shop about it and they said get the DV but u dont need the spacer + u might lose power. thats what MATRIX Integrated said, and they could of easily said yes buy it, they are not making money from it.

    Re: New fuel Injectors??

bigger injectors really wouldnt do much at this point. It would help with more fuel, but than you would need a hpfp and be requesting more fuel. Most chips just request xx fuel, so unless you get an updated file, you will not really take advantaged of the upgraded injectors.

It's Forge DV Spacer. The company who makes it is Forge. It's not a forged DV. Sorry, that's just a pet peeve of mine.

    Re: New fuel Injectors??

here's one from the respected DOCTOR

[QUOTE=Doctor]Look, we've done several tests here in Greece with the spacer on, and all it does, is to produce this silly sound...Nothing else...In some cases, we suspected cars losing power, instead of gaining. The most proper thing, is to wear only the forge dv, which is the best, you'll never have a problem with it breaking. Yes, the sound isnt loud, but it works the way it should. Which is the thing you care about the most...?
    For me, working right...
For others, making noise...So they leave on the OEM dv and the spacer, which is the loudest I think of all...

    Re: New fuel Injectors??

FYI, Audi just released a new DV that has no diaphragm. Should be much better. At least according to APR's post a couple days ago. So the days of the aftermarket DV's may be coming to an end.

    Re: New fuel Injectors??

Nope. With the factory turbo you're not injector limited. Once you upgrade to a k04 or larger, you'll finally become injector limited. It's nice to see Audi gave us plenty of room from the factory.

    Re: New fuel Injectors??

What you really need is to get the Forge DV or just the latest revision DV from Audi, skip the injectors, exhaust (or at the very least a down pipe), a Fuel Pump Upgrade, and Stage II software of some sort that supports the fuel pump. Then you'll see a difference.
