    Angry Center cap falling off

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey guys,

I don't know why but my rear right center cap on my 2003 Audi A4 stock wheel keeps falling off. I've tried about 5 different caps without any success. They usually stay on for about 3 days and then they're gone. I don't know if there is a specific method for placing them on. I just align them and push it in. Am I doing something wrong? The rim itself seems to be intact, so I doubt it's something on that end.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Re: Center cap falling off

Like JMVant is alluding to, there is a metal ring that goes inside the cap. Without this metal ring, the cap will continue to fall out since it produces tension between the cap and the wheel.

    Re: Center cap falling off

The center caps I'm using are brand new. The metal ring and all clips are intact. Am I supposed to just push it in or do I have to twist it a particular way? Also, to remove it properly, I place the "key" in the hole and do what?
