One question. Not sure if I have the heated nozzles from factory.
Will it work for me if I put the heated ones from Passat...?

Not really, could be in the DIY Guide at the top though.

I wonder since the Passat housing has to be glued to the hood, if its possible to guy the Audi housing and Passat housing and then attach the new sprayer inside the Audi housing, and then save having to glue it to your hood.

I took the MKv's off, but then tried to see if with any way the Audi's would fit on the golf so as not to leave it without any
    But they wouldnt.

So I put the heated Passat one, on my Audi, sealed it with Sikaflex 252, and I will take the tape off tomorrow. Works fine. I will buy another one for the passenger's side and voila.

    The heated nozzle I bought
    (#5M0 955 986 C which replaced the #5M0 955 986 9B9)

And here it is, VS the A4 non-heated one I had from factory...

I bought one for a test, so now, I will buy another one, but no reason to buy a heated one again, I will look for the code of a regular non-heated Passat/Golf one which will be cheaper....

i went to my local VW dealer for the 5M0 955 986 9B9 part. parts guy says that this is actually Jetta-specific, and that they're $47/each.

    guess i'll look for that replacement part number (5M0 955 986 C) on genuineaudiparts.com ...

Yeah, take off the nozzle you have on your hood, just one, and see whether it has

    1) Just the pipe for water, so it is not heated
    2) both the pipe for water, and a socket, so it is the heated one.

No, they wont. There is a very small gap that prevents it from clipping back as a direct fit. I used Sikaflex 252, kept it with blue tape for a day, then took it off and it was ready...

Hmmm my stock jets have never really had any pressure. I though it was the norm. Anything to look into? Or replace (would rather go direct fit).

    1. I assume I need two to replace both
    2. Is this the right part? I'm a little confused with the part numbers. I assume it is, but thought I'd double check.

    Propably yes.
However i cant take them out now cause i have them on with the glue...
It would take a lot of time to remove them once again...
I can only assume they will be the exact same man...

Bumping this with some potentially useful information. I just installed the 3 nozzle washer jets as referenced in this post. They use adapters to fill the excess space in the hole, as the nozzles are also slightly smaller than the B6 versions. The adapters also push the back (or is it front?) of the nozzle down some. I had tried the fan jets in the past but they sprayed at the base of the windshield and were completely useless. If you use the adapters (PN# 8E0955431, buy 2), you shouldn't have to glue the fan jets in place, and it may angle them in such a way that the spray actually covers the windshield.

FYI, the angle can be adjusted by turning the screw that you see on front of the nozzle. After adjustment, mine provide great coverage.
