hahahaha ^^ that is a good point too. I usually just put on my rear fogs when people are on my ass. They are so bright that people just back off. I think they get confused and think im braking too. its awesome

#7 - "glue into place"...guessing it wasn't a direct fit? i see the gap on 'under the bonnet after'.

i did similar. i took the nozzles off the wife's mkv rabbit and tired it on my car, but it was a little smaller and would not stay on. i was hoping the passat piece was a different part # (from the rabbit's) and would be a direct fit til i saw #7 picture.

rear fogs?

Yes - rear fogs. When you turn the nob all the way to the right and pull it out once, that is the front fog lights. When you pull it out all the way that is the rear fog lights.

i have a B6 and am wondering if this will work for me also.

i was turned away from this mod because i was told that the harness's didn't match up. but maybe they were using the old passat's squirter and this new one will work.

Got a part number? I'll get them and try it right away on my B6. Vindis Audi in Cambridge seems to give me a hookup on parts too. Not sure why, but most of the stuff I've bought here in England is cheaper than I can get it in the US, with a few exceptions. Kinda wierd...

Great mod indeed. My "water pistol" washers have no pressure behind them and i have to pump them incessantly to get a good stream. Do you think this mod would fix that?

J/K! Great mod & DIY, thank you. Coming from Jap cars previously, I was let down to see how wimpy the washer on the A4 were. I always thought German cars were supposed to have sprayers with balls.

Anybody know if the heated function will swap over along with the fan spray?

I like the Passat fan jet, but I also like the triple water-pistol of the B8 A4, puts out lots of water.

Rear fogs- pull out the knob that controls your lights.
