Changed my timing belt today and...

it started up fine and runs great. but the idle is kinda ruff. the timing was lined up perfect i made sure of that. i did put in a snub mount (witch makes my car feel so much better while driving it, i love it) and i knew it would be a little more shaky at idle but not like this. its almost feel like i gave it bad gas. and its not bad gas i use bp 93 and i filled up not even a week ago. any other thoughts guys or is it just the snub making it do that?

Quite a few members installed their apr snub backwards, you may want to search on that if you have the time. The incorrect isntallation eventually ripped the snub iirc.

how do you align a snub mount doesnt it just sit where it sits? and the way i installed it was the rounded end was going into the basket and when the mount was set into the grove on the stem coming off the intercooler piping it almost went back all the way to the metal. hell it looked right to me haha

undo the bolts that hold the bracket on, but don't take them out. leave them in, but the bracket should be loose. turn the car on. let it idle for a couple minutes. tighten the bracket w/o moving it.

    should be set.

X2, you need to do this. Real easy too. I do that for just about every after market upgraded mount I put in.
