Cars back up and running...

For those of you who remember I managed to have a serious install error installing my meth kit. Long story short, a buddy of mine managed to put the nozzles in upside down and I ended up sucking the filter screen, jet and brass fitting into my motor. Somehow the heads on the car never got damaged. The Pistons, valves and everthing else was fine exept for my Ko4's compressor wheels taking a shit. I ended up putting ko4/rs6 hybrids in. I figure this would be a good setup seeing as how i like doing alot of road course stuff. Anyway, I haven't started logging yet because I have 3/4 of a tank of 4.5 month old gas in the car. So untill that is empty and I can put new gas in im just going to stay out of the throttle for a while. For those of you who have been without your car for this long, you know my JOY

having it back. I can't wait for the new gas so I can start tuning for the new turbos and meth kit, and yes, in case you were wondering, the kit is installed correct this time

Awesome news J! BTW, I should be swinging by your "shop" tomorrow to pick up my girl...I'm anxious after just a day so I can't imagine waiting over 4 months

Nice to hear, i know how it is.

My old car 97 gsx, was down for over a year. My built motor can to me with crankwalk and didnt find out till it was on the dyno, so i had to uninstall it send it back get another one then the tranny went on me

pull that out get it rebuilt. Got to the point i could not take it anymore and moved on to a new project. Hope that not the case for you..

Make sure you let us know how you like those ko4/rs6 turbo's..

I saw your new toys today and I have to say that I am rather envious of you. When I left allthat looked left to be done was to get your bumper back on. The fitment is perfect, you are going to be stoked.

I praying that nothing else popps up, but with these cars it would hardly be news if something did. After I start logging and retuning I will let you know how everything is going.

wow no engine internal failure? your turbos took the grunt of it? that was an expensive lesson learned! good to hear the S is alive and thriving again!

Glad you stuck with it, most would sell. As i've been through the same thing although I needed head work and other stuff.

Ya, it was a dam miracle that I had zero head damage. Even without the re-tune the car is running good, its just boosting a little high so I'm trying to stay out of it.
