    Need Urgent Help

    Hey so i took out my test pipe and now my car is throwing a lean code and misfiring constantly and dieing at idle can anyone help. before i took the test pipe out i had an o2 code because of the test pipe i figured but i never bothered because it was running fine now i don't knw wht to do my mechanic is clueless about wht to do on this.

    did you install the cat back on? Make sure u didnt damage an o2 when re-installing, Check that all hoses are connected, unplug the MAF and try starting, what are your fuel trims....if you have access to them? Or at last try a Capacitive discharge.....unhook the battery cables and touch them for 20 sec. Hope this helps

    Yeah, unplug the maf and see what happens, damged 02 sensor could be a problem. And I'm pretty sure (if you can check it) block 032 is fuel trim...someone correct me if I'm wrong.

    a damaged o2 can really cause tht much problems? which o2 is damaged the front of rear would it be possible to determine for sure before i get a new one some how? thanks

    I just found this out earlier myself but run block 031 and see what the air fuel is. If it is greater than 1.00 something like 1.8... bad sensor. Thanks Greg I'll be trying that Wednesday.

    hey so i disconnected the maf sensor and the car started and idle fine and drove fine so what could be the problem did that sensor go bad or is it the front O2 sensor on the cat that is causing my idle problem?
