    Also a great example of how a front plate totally destroys the look of the front of the car. Nice shots though, looks a like a good time!

    You would think when spending over 100k on an R8, they'd have a special mount for a plate not to glob up the front

    Looks like a great time. Nice ride. Great road course too. I used to go to a lot of SCCA events and some BMW 2002 races from time to time when I lived in the Bay Area. Good times.

    I might be wrong, but it looks like Laguna Seca. Ha, I play a lot of Forza...

    The only standing start, straight line racing I enjoy is on the way to the first corner.

    Gotcha. I figured it would be Laguna since the picture with the Mazda banner looks like turn 1 at Laguna and Laguna is sponsored by Mazda (I'm pretty sure?). Also, the last picture looks like the two left turns before climbing the back straight into the corkscrew. I've never been to either tracks, so I'm not positive.

    Easy way to settle this... retrohasen, what track were the pics taken at?!?

    These were from the ALMS event at Laguna Seca. Parade lap on Sunday.

    Thanks for the compliments.

    BTW, I am running STaSIS/Champion RG40 wheels at the moment.
