For Jan '09 - Which all-new model are you most excited about or looking forward to?

This month's official poll is not only the first of the new year, but the first one specifically about Audis. With a number of new models hitting showrooms now or later this year, we are curious to know which ones AZ'ers are the most excited about. Some of these vehicles are all-new segments for Audi, while others contain exciting new engines.

I read threads of the new S4 being supercharged, which let a lot of enthusiests down. People seem to want Audi to revert back to the twin turbo for the S4 model, found in the B5. Hopefully, that can be seen later on in the future. I myself am digging that Q5. It seems more in the range of competition for the BMW X3 and Acura MDX (mid-size luxury SUV). I voted for the Q5

Edit: Just saw a commercial for the Mercedes GLK. Looks like the Audi Q5 has some competition for 09.

The regular A5 coupe has been out for awhile now. This poll is about new models en route this year.

No question S4. Only one of the 4 to be truly new. A5 is just a cab now, Q5 is a smaller Q7 (and a wifey mobile), and the R8 was already incredible, a bigger engine is sweet but the R8 V8 is pretty much perfect as is ha.

I'm a family man so as much as i would love an S5 vert its not gonna happen therefore i am voting for the S4, although for as much money as it is going to go for there is now way in hell i would by one. If i had that kind of diposable income i would be looking at a 09 E63 AMG, M3, or a CTS-V. Maybe even a used M5.

The new Q5 is an awesome car. I personally hate SUV's, but this one is so good, I actually am considering one. Combine that with America's demand for this segmant, and this is the vehicle that I, as a salesperson, am most excited for.

I swear, if BMW beats audi to the market with any Diesel offering, I'm gonna be freaking pissed! I mean Audi did the whole TDI LeMans thing to build up the brand, and TDI and diesel as a technology, and now they are draggin on bringing us cars? Whats up w/ the Audi Marathon? Still no cars, and gonna bring out the Q7 and T-reg (which I will most likely buy) but no A3 or A4 TDI? I'd rock an A5 3.0TDI on coilovers and wheels ALL DAY LONG!

If you are doing this poll for Audi, or if Audi is going to see it... HURRY UP with the TDIs already.

Personally, as some already have said, I wanted to see a luxury mid-size SUV out of Audi. That will be the Q5.

Even though I own an S4, I really am not that interested in this new one that will come out in 09. Not only because I wanted the S4 line to keep the V8 (which I thought would be a very unique market segment to hold. I don't think many S4 owners complain about gas or consumption because we are too busy loving our cars) but because it looks more like a family sedan now rather than an aggressive sport monster.

Audi R8 is beautiful but out of reach so besides looking at pictures with my jaw dropped, not much else interests me about it.

And the A5/S5 cabriolet. I don't like convertibles nor the fact that it's only a two door. I'd rather take an S4 or an S6 over an S5 no matter how I look at it.
