Need help with my WHEELS

Well my 18" RS4's just about changed from my loved wheels to my hated wheels.. One of the wheels (which I bought used) turned out to be somewhat bent since the wheel wiggles on the balancing machine. When driving, you can feel a shaking for the rear end when going over 35mph. I contacted the manufacturers (VMR) but the wheels turned out to be version 1's which are long not in production... Great.. So I was wondering, is there a way to fix this wheel? Does anybody know of any shops in Chicago that could do this for me? Maybe anybody has the first version VMR V708 that they can sell me ?

Check Wheels America. They can fix anything for $129.00 (flat fee). And plus, what is the difference between version 1 and the newer ones?

they are good. i had a set of five ssr integras, the old five spoke ones, two were cracked and all were bent. i sent them in and got them all repaired. they balanced perfectly. they told me $500 for all five wheels. SWEET DEAL!!

There's a place In Merrillville IN just across the border that fixed on of my Axis Petena's for $80. They did an awesome job. Couldn't even tell they touched it. They fix wheels for all the local dealers like BMW/Lexus/Audi. Their name is Custom Butie'k. Phone is 219.769.8730, ask for Frank I think....Worth a call if you can't find anyone else. He fixed mine while I waited BTW. Took about 30 minutes.

Version one is completely different dimensions and not as widely arched. (18x8, et.35 VS. 18x8.5 et.38)

No.. More like buying used wheels and the PO not saying a word about it..

Depending on how bad the bend is, most wheel repair shops should be able to fix it for a low cost. I know you have been working with Ty on this situation. If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me and we can work something out.
