Hi put red alcantara on the decorledges of my car and on the other parts like the ashtrays. Some little folds are there because I fix it on the backside. Next week I fix the alcantara in the right way so all looks smooth.
What do you think about it?

Every time I think you've started getting classier with your mods, something like this shows up.

It's cool just cuz it's so different, but it definitely needs to be smoothed out. Whats that stuff that you have surrounding your vents? I bet black alcantra would be sweet.

This car is riced out. I give up on trying to make sense of anything done to it. You have horrible taste. Please stop. I'm not trying to bash you, but you just keep doing really bad things to your car. Now that I've taken a closer look, it appears that you have some sort of shiny and tacky trim around your A/C vents. Why would you do that?

Try putting the same color red inserts into your seats, Then they will match.

    Re: Decorledges

The next step is to put the alcantara in the middle of the seads and the armrest goes red. I think than it gives a better pic. grew doormats with red outline come this month too.

I think if this all in install than it looks good.

I'm not a sheep. I'm all for doing crazy mods, but this car is too scatterbrained. To pull off something like red Alcantara trim, you need something else pulling it together. Where is there red anywhere else on that car? Then there's the tacky trim bits around the vents too. And the overall quality of the work done is low. This seems like someone modding his car just for the sake of modding it. Spend more time planning and thinking abut what you are doing to your car, and it will might out great. And just a question, but what color is the car?

I have to add that I have extremely high standards, which is why you don't really see pics of my car here. The only ones I've posted are "in work" pics, and I will not take real photos till I am satisfied with the car. That may never happen, since my standards are so high. I can't count the number of cars I've seen at shows here in England, and even at the Essen Motor Show, where I found stupid mistakes and low quality work on supposed show cars. I just think that if you are going to do things, you should do them right the first time, meaning no wrinkles in the fabric. And you should also have some sort of color coordination going. Planning and attention to detail can go a long way. This is not hating, just my honest opinion.

    Re: Decorledges

Did you bedazzle your a/c vents and tweeters??

Once you do the ash tray, arm rest and seats I think the red will look good! it looks unfinished now.
