Hey guys, i have a 08 a4 S line and my brother has a 330 ci 02 and he has a full exhaust and cold air intake, all i have at the moment is a neuspeed chip, when we race i beat him to about 85 mph then he slowly starts to wheel me in.... im wondering what are the next upgrades i can do to change this lol? would a carbonio cold air intake as well as APR exhaust make a big enough differnce? if not what are the next steps i should take? thanks guys

the test pipe will replace your cat converter. the apr exhaust will replace your downpipe and the rest of your exhaust system. the test pipe will connect to your apr exhaust downpipe. so you'll be upgrading 2 different pieces, that work together

idk how rules are in texas. i know for the OP that CA emissions seem to be tough, from what i hear. test pipes are illegal. cat converters are required, i believe in most states. Here in CT having a test pipe would fail a visual inspection. But i have had friends with test pipes pass due to various reasons. maybe some members from your home states can help you out more specifically

Everyone always goes right for more power, but no one remembers it's a fat pig. Lose some weight in the car, spare tire, any and all "junk" you have laying around, includes large sub boxes, etc. It will cost you nothing.

listen just go 2 revo i really dont kow how i feel about the neuspeed chip??? then get an exhaust awe perhaps? with a test pipe from eurocode and you will beast on him .... theres no reason 4 that car 2 beat u .... and as some one said loose sum weight spare tire and all will help

stage 2 software is a reprogramming/replacement of your car's software with a chip/program configured for certain aftermarket exhaust/intake/fuel pump components. These components change the air and fuel levels, and so you need to tell the computer in your car to adjust accordingly.

usually when you see "APR stage 2" or something.. it's specifically designed to work with certain parts (from APR). but if you find a good shop that does dyno tuning.. you can have your software configured to work with whatever mix of upgrades you've done.

ea hes correct .... i personally have stage 2 from revo .... like you have your neuspeed program ... they dont make anything but their base program ... which is wh i say you should switch to revo ..... that my opinion ... i think if you go revo get ur exhaust and ur test pipe you should have absolutly NO problem smokin that beemer .. make sur eyou get revo 93 octane software tho

not alotta ppl use neuspeed ... not 2 say its bad but ive had experience with giac x and revo and im much more impressed with revo ..... look into it its a chunk of change but if your going to modd your car another program on ur ecu is your best bet .... not only revo but apr has good software from what i hear so either one would b suitable call apr they might b able to set you up with a deal mayb chip and exhaust .... mayb youll get a discount if you get 22gether?

the 2nd one is 2.5 inch ... youll get better flow out of a 3 inch .... and revo chip is 500 ..... which is y i say if you call apr they might b able to work somthing out with a deal for both

dude im pretty sure thats not true. the 2.5 one is actually 2.75 which gets smaller to 2.5. so it creates a nice amount of back pressure and the flow is real good. i guess it just depends on how big your downpipe is so you can connect it with ease

I used to be just chipped.

When I added my test pipe and stage 2 tuning (free from APR since I was already chipped) to compliment it, it was a noticeable difference. Intake you won't notice.
