deval bumper fitment pics

hi all. heres the pics that everybody requested for daytime pics of the fitment. the fitment is a little off but i could deal with it. i tried to get different angles from all around. sorry about the shadow on the front of the bumper, it was coming from the building behind me. hope that the pics help!

now it looks better, I think you could adjust the other side thats a tad off. I had that issue before and I had to rescrew the inner fender bolts and push the bumper in.

yeah, i think that when the weather gets better like into the mid 30's (hehe), im gonna try to pull out the fender a lil to line everything up.

I like the theme and all, but to be honest the fitment is horrible. It would bother me looking at that every morning. But if you like it, its all good!

Im glad you like it and hopefully with a bit of tweaking it can fit a bit better.

but IMO i dont know how deval can make something that has such a bad fitment? it cleary doesnt fit very well. im with ^^

Might want to take it to a body shop, they can prolly get the fit better than any of us non-pros could.

the car still looks good from afar. one would assume better fitment for a 600 bumper tho. maybe a little heatgun action might form it better?

Yeah, only thing worse than the fit is the color match.

the matching could never be the same unless the whole car is painted over... any experienced paint shop will tell you that.

How does Deval get away with this...im glad he decided to upgrade the bumper, its just ashame the fitment is soooo off...I wish you could heat the bumper and mold it better, then do new paint, but eh such a hassle...Goodluck, keep ur head up!

No it doesn't, the point of this is to fit the bodywork of the a4 while looking like the rs4 bumper which is much wider. If you put the rs4 fenders on it, the front would look super wide and the rest would just look odd.

whole reason i mentioned that is cause the rs4 fenders are wider, and from the pics, looks like the deval needs wider fenders to flush...
Either way, im sure as hell glad i didnt go deval, I would be flippin on them.

or just sell the bumper, and buy a new one and have it painted to match for less than 1500 :p

Would look great if the fitment an color was good.
The color issue on silver cars are a bitch. It's almost impossible to match. Can look good from one angle, but totaly of from a nother.
Hope you get the fitment problem taken care of. It will bug you every time you walk to your car.

not yet, im enjoying having my var back while it lasts :)

Currently, the fitment and color match are way off, but Im sure you can find a legit body shop that will fix the fitment for about $300. They should also be able to fade the paint into your fenders so theres not such a sharp contrast between your fenders and bumper instead of having to repaint the whole car.

i know a guy name chris in Mt vernon(241 near white plains road in the bronx) that can make it fit and color match it. he makes crashed cars look like they can off the dealer lot brand new. who ever told you they gotta paint the whole car to color match is a complete lier.
