Timing Belt maintenance

Hey Guys, I'm getting my timing belt and water pump done just wanted to know if its necessary to get the pulley done also?

What's the worse case scenario, if let's say it doesn't get changed out? Not that it won't be, I plan on changing it anyways... just wanted to hear the flipside.

meaning you will brake the whole head, maybe injure the block as well and youll need a new engine.

actually, the worst that happens is the tensioner will give out if not replaced, the timing belt will slip causing the valves to hit the piston and bend. the pistons and short block will be ok, but you will need to either replace the head, replace the valves and lap the valve seats, or upgrade vvt aeb and/or high rpm valvetrain, + optional headwork (3/5/7 -angle valve job, port/polish, oversize).

once the belt breaks or shears, you will need to replace it again, as well as the bad tensioner and/or pulleys, with additional labor for doing the same job twice. save yourself the grief and pony up the dough.
