Huge air sound (like vaccum leak), near top of intake, I think the FPR?. LEAN code...

I found out what my previous 'whoosing sound' at 5k rpm was, now that its a constant PSSSSSSS. I think a vaccum like broke somewhere near the FPR. I have a 'system bank 1 lean' code.

Also, I dont know if this is related, but the heater don't work at idle any more. is that vaccum controlled?

I wouldnt think your heater problem would be a vac issue but i could be wrong considering i kno very little about the heating system. My heat starts blowing cooler air when at lower rpm's and idle. I Flushed and burped the coolant system numerous time and still nothing. Ive came to realize that it could be 2 things, either my heater core or my water pump. You DO NOT want to replace your heater core unless it is absolutely necessary.

u have a vac. leak somewhere. grab a can of brake clean and spray around where you hear it while the car is running and if it sucks the brake clean up you should hear the idle change. Then look in that area for broken vac. lines. hope that helps
