    Quick help! B7 to B6 content..

    Looking to install a B7 S4's cluster into my B6, would like some info on that.
    will it fit right in? any modifications needed? do i need to code immobilizer, if so then how do i do it?

    the thread title makes it sound like you have a B7 and are trying to do a B6 conversion... like the B6 to B7 conversions.... :P you'll get much quicker answers if you name the thread something relevant and more descriptive to what you are asking.

    Definitely need dealer assistance to get the SKC. Mileage reading will also be incorrect unless you are starting with a brand new cluster.

    This is the dealio...

    You cannot do it with a VAG-COM, it muct be performed at the dealer...

    The B7 cluster must be new (or have less than 100KM on it), the dealer will request a SKU (secret key) from Audi and then they will code the cluster, this will put your mileage into the cluster and also you immobilizer information.

    Sounds expensive.
