Absolutely! I think I'm the only C5'er on the eastbay so I'd be more than happy to drive over to you guys.

Lets say meet up at the top of the Burlingame Bart Garage on Sunday February 8th @ about Noon? Figured this would be a good date considering it's a Sunday, it's after the Superbowl and it's just before Valentine's day.

I was there when BART was being built! Burlingame is by South City, airport area, right? I used to work there, commute from East Bay. Damn, wish I was there. Especially when it's single digits back here. Find me a job and I'll join you every month.

Here's the deal Andrey -- about a year or so ago I needed a new job, new house, new car and new wife. Now, mind you, I wasn't being a pig about this:
-> I was perfectly willing to go with used house (done -- small Cape Cod with deck)
-> I was also quite willing to get used car (done -- picked out a C5 6 sp, had chip and sways and I did rest of mods, now have ipod kit to handle a 3,000 mile trip, in fact)
-> I'm even willing to go for a used wife (still rounding up candidates)
But I definitely need a NEW JOB!

i hear you man,
i had a job but after 1.5 years of disability from motorcycle accident they couldn't wait more, now i got my associate degree in IT and market kinda sux, i'm taking a paid internship so i can have a solid experience, and money to pay some bills, also part time security at the night club...money saved for stage 3 helping a lot, thanx god i didn't do it.
Don't have house and wife, but still paying my own rent (2 bd appt), car, insurance, etc....if you knew me, i helped almost all my friends with jobs, i would help you with job but i just have no idea were to start in this crappy time...

Actually I was mostly trying a little levity re job situation, but thanks for asking. Biz came crashing down several years ago, something of a disaster, actually (lost everything), but I'll land on feet (older, ran company, fancy education).

Always loved Bay Area, only lived there for a year, a long time ago. Was a steel worker there before grad school, kids, etc. Not surprised to hear you have helped folks, K.

Nah... I live in Lafayette. Not too far from there though. Will be moving to San Ramon in the up and coming months with another AZ'er who's also a damn good friend of mine in the area. How long ago did you leave?

Definitely good to know... I'm always in the Danville/SR area visiting a fellow AZ'er (S4DTM). What color is the Allroad? Will keep an eye out next time I'm around.

And no worries on not being able to make it out this time around. I'd like to have a C5/C6/Allroad meet once a month from here on out. Maybe even meet up for food/drinks somewhere one of these days for a GTG? I'll plan somewhere for the next one. When the time comes for another GTG, I'll just bump the post up whenever necessary.

Sounds good. We used to have regular GTGs out this way, but they died out. I'd definitely be up for it, but if at night it would have to be on a Sunday/Monday/Tuesday. The other nights don't work for me.

My allroad is grey, with the full body paint, so the fenders are not black like most allroads.

Yeah... There was a regular GTG w/ the VW crew at the Kohl's in Concord every Monday. Pretty sure no one goes anymore though. I was usually the only Audi there.

This GTG will most likely be on Sunday afternoons when the majority of people are free. (or at least I hope most people will be free)

Keep an eye out for my car too... I have a slammed 02 4.2 with my AZ handle in the back window .

well i am out guys, my car is in winter mode: 17s and dirty, plus i hit my driver side last time i went to BoReal, need to take the front bumper screw back the lip spoiler and pull the fender, also fog light attaching points broke.....but, it was fun drifting it :)
