Ok, OK, OK... I have no problem to share
The mesh come from 2004 VW R32 bottom middle grill (Dealer $39.90)
Than, pretty straight forward: Dremel action, tyrap to hold in place and glued on the inside using Loctite Plastic Epoxy (Sets: 7 mn - Home Depot $4).
Cut the tyraps, install the bumper, have a beer...

The R32 insert has almost the same shape then the Audi Bumper!

Not my intention and the DIY that you are referring to works only for S-Line bumper because you can remove the inserts. Not on mine

I'm pretty sure that i will work just as fine on a non s-line. Cut the RS4 mesh out and glue it on the inside off the bumper

well it looks good per se but doesnt really flow with your grille. you shoulda swapped out the grille while you had the bumper off.

It will not work, I checked while I was looking for the mesh. It's wider on the non S line

i dont think us non s-line doods can put an rs4 grill in. So many damned restrictions with these non s-line bumpers. Limited grills to buy, have to take off the whole damn bumper to play with the fog lights. wtf!

By the way, great progress on the LED tail lights. Stay tuned . I was busy all day upgrading a Fellow Ziner with the LED and headlight Joey mod. i am sure he will give you his feedback soon
