    New OEM DV 06H 145 710 D - Diaphragm Removed!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey guys,

we were recently working on a few new vehicles and discovered another rolling change VW/Audi has made. Apparently they have upgraded the Diverter Valve, again, to the new part below. It looks pretty solid from what we can tell and the spring included feels a bit stronger as well. The new part number is 06H 145 710 D. We've seen little to no problems with the OEM G valve, however we'll be testing this new OEM part with all our setups.

From looking at ETKA it appears this new valve will come standard on all 2.0T's from now on so there may be a few people out there with this part already!

I just want to point out, we are not selling this part or keeping an inventory of them so I'm sorry, I can't sell you any. If anyone wants to pick one up, check with your local VW parts department to see if they have began stocking the part! Looks like this is going to be a cheap solution for everyone running the early 2.0T DV's!

    Here are the photos!

looks good. so would this be called the "H" dv? Is this what the b8's have or do some 2008 b7's have as well?

    Neat!

The "G" is actually an 06F part, while this is a 06H, so designed for a different chassis. They aren't considered a direct supersede for the part. It's more considered as a new part.

Really? We checked in the newest version of ETKA and it was listing this part as a supersede for all FSI d.v.'s.

We discovered it on a brand new TT-S.

    Re: New OEM DV 06H 145 710 D - Diaphragm Removed!

Sorry, I just wasn't being clear.. It's not a supercession in the typical sense, where the part goes from an A to B to C, like the original "G" valves were doing. It's a completely new PN that everything's being changed over to, so you can't just call it the "D" rev, since it's a completely different part number than the prior valves. There's a "D" rev of the 06F, and the "D" rev of the new 06H.

    Just making things confusing. :)

We haven't actually checked at a dealership yet to see if there is stock stateside or not.

We got a TT-S off of the lot for some development goodies and found the d.v. We then checked ETKA for the part number and saw it was listed for all d.v. replacement parts. Sometimes ETKA is ahead of dealership inventory.

    Hi Keith,
Do you think their will be any issues with this DV being run on a car that has had the ECU flashed with the APR programs?
It looks like a more solid piece over the previous design.

Definitely. You think this would be an improvement over the valve currently in an early 08'? Im guessing with the tighter spring it would be. I'll check availability on monday, and post results.

We just received the first batch this morning in Australia, Fitted up to a new S3 (MY2008) and our stage 3 GTI. Initial test drives are good, feels a little smoother, seems to react nicely.

Will see how they go over the next few weeks.

4 weeks from Germany for us Australians!

Yes, it should. I didn't even know this was available/an option until it was posted in another thread and I'm in the market for a beefier DV so this is GREAT news for me! Especially considering it appears to be less expensive than the aftermarket offerings, a cleaner easier install and just a better design all the way around.

MSRP is $110. Riverside Audi has it listed for $79.33 (with AudiWorld discount, ~$93 without). I've no idea if they have it in stock though

Yeah, I wasn't really listening when he said the price so it could have been the price mksap11 stated.
