    What'd ya use to get in there and clearance the sides of the case; an angle grinder, or what?

    I used a die grinder and various stones for it. I put a vacuum there to grab as much of the dust. After that, I pressure washed the block, sprayed the bores down with wd40 right after so they didnt rust, then rinsed the whole thing down with mineral spirits / lacquer thinner. I had an engine brush set too to make sure I got all the dust out of the holes for the oil/coolant.

    air die grinder and carbide bits ftw. Then i went in with a stone and cleaned it up. I still have to give it a good pressure washing, but wd40 is your friend.
