Hey guys! this is definitally the Best Audi site ive stumbled across so far.

I have an 05 UltraSport. Arctic White, stock for now, other than some new exhaust tips (b-day gift) I have a Carbonio intake sitting in the corner waiting for a heated garage or temps above 0* to be installed lol. Also awaiting delivery of my S4 grill. Got the car in July with 21k on the clock, Traded in my 2004 slightly modded GTO. god i miss torque... Next on my list though is a stage1+ w/ injectors. Probably doing a new DV before then, but can i do a DV w/o a chip? need to do more research before i do andthing else. Im actv on a few other forums, ls1gto and thechicagogarage.org Im 19, i work as a lab tech at a Pharmaceuticals company on the northside of Chicago, and i live Somewhere in te Schaumburg/woodfield/hoffman estates area for you locals.

white USP looks great, i tried to buy a gorgeous red one 05, USP, hottt car, but almost 20k for 60k miles? nahh... i got mine with 21K miles out the door for 22K, and now its worth jack shit with this economy crap...

BTW, whats up with the USP club? im proud of my USP lol

off topic but man, tell me about cold in chicago (I'm in Norridge) today is the coolest day so far this year.
Awesome car man. BTW I can't help with your questions (I have a 01 A4) but one. Of course you can put a DV before the chip, a nice forge one will be perfect.
As far as body styling I would live the car as is, just some wheels. and if you do decide on that I want your stock wheels! Take care of the 'baby'.

wheels will stay, i like em just fine lol. body im gettin an S4 grill, maybe smoke the tails, and maybe a slitter in front, i think the black splitter would really accent the USP bumper nicely, and MAYBE lower 1/2 to 1 inch WAAAY down the road

around 5k for a BT kit.

everyone here will tell you to skip the k04 and go big turbo.

when i first got my a4 i wanted to go the k04 route too. holding out for a BT this spring

ive seen 2 with unpainted lowers in wilmette, and 3 s4's other than that thank god i havent seen anyhting else lol, and northbrook isnt far at all me and my gf are always in that area babysitting her little cousins, they live right by northbrook ct

Your old GTO was supposed to be fast. Your new A4 isn't supposed to be fast, that's what the S4 and RS4 are for. This is why it takes $5k to make it go.

Don't fret though, an Audi has a lot more steez than a Pontiac.

GTO are quick, and not really american either. Australian built by Holden, and actually have a really nice interior. I got an opportunity to track a heavily modified 03 GTO at the mid ohio raceway a couple years back and it's a nicely put-together piece of machinery.

problem is look at an old school GTO which my dad and all my uncles had when they were kids..those things are muscle cars with some power..the new ones look like a grandprix with a big engine.. Pontiac GTO = Fail... Use to be a big GM enthusiast but have since moved on from American to German and will never go back..unless a new Z06 falls in my lap

Hey man I like the USP, but i too miss my 5.7, mine was in a truck tho lol. Where you ls6? Dont worry i was in the same boat as you when i dropped 4cylinders but dont worry there are some good options for some good power. theres a 1.8t wagon on here that pulled a new vette so there is some potential. that stage 1 or 1+ will double you boost but when its all said and done your out almost a grand so if you really want to go BT or BAT (big turbo or big ass turbo) i would say start by getting an exhaust or intercooler. Oh and dont get a K04 its only 15hp more than a stage 1+ chip, not woth the couple thousands.

Lol hi guys, GTO was a sweet car. ran 13's bone stock, headers, tune and drag radials will put an 04 GTO into the 12's, and 05-06 (400 HP) GTO's will run 12's stock

Dont underestimate them lol

Like i said, stage 1+ next, then prolly a FMIC and maybe a bigger turbo

To answer your question below, you can do the DV without a chip. As far as performance value/per dollar, i would recommend doing a flash. We offer free APR trial flashes (customer pays 1/2 labor for flash). Feel free to call me at the shop if you have any questions
