Our exhaust is turbo > cat > dp > exhaust, from what I understand.

So if i have a NS Cat-back, then that should include the dp, correct?

(i know i should just take a look under the car but it's cold outside and i'm a lazy butt sitting at my computer).

No the Magnaflows do not have a dp included.

very noobish question here but whats the difference between a test pipe and a down pipe???

downpipe is a downpipe it's the connection between the cat and the rest of the exhaust. a test pipe is a gutted cat essentially. They are two different parts.

how much louder would my car be if I get a downpipe, with my magnaflow 16601 with oem cat? Would that be a smart move performance wise?
I 'd just hate to put a testpipe, but want to let my k03 breathe better

It'll rumble a lil deeper and loss a little rasp. I have magnaflow 16601 w/ a labree hfc and dp my exhaust is decently deep without the honda like buzz of most 4 cylinders with exhaust. Think of it as turning down the treble a lil bit on your radio.

nice just what i wanted, a little deeper more rumble. I'll just go to some place and have them weld in a piece of pipe as a downpipe.
