None of the additional modifications you listed will creat ANY additional stress on the oem cam lobe, follower or any hpfp, aftermarket (assuming their is no design flaws) or oem.

The only thing that can create additional stress on the hpfp is the rpms and rail pressure.

I understand we owe you a huge apology. I am sorry about the difficulties we had in developing a 91 oct file with performance high pressure fuel pump for your APR ko4. I had no idea you were using the 93 oct file at the time. I assumed you were using the file for our FSI Fuel pump which creates compatibility but does not increase the power potential from the pump upgrade and has been available for 91 oct since we released our FSI Pump.

I would imagine you did experience some power delivery issues by not having 93 oct in the tank and I am sorry this happened to you. I wish I could have realized we had spoken at the open house and remembered who you were. We still wouldn't have been able to accomplish a 91 oct ko4 calibration with additonal power to take advantage of your FSI Fuel Pump upgrade but we could have done a better job of explaining the situation to you so you wouldn't have thought there was an issue with our product. You were using the product outside of our intended design parameters and its totally my fault for not realizing it.

That being said, there was prolly no way we could match the offer AWE gave you on their turbo kit though so you have definitely come out better price wise in the long run. We can't even manufacture our turbokit at the price AWE gave you. Our exhaust manifold is $1000 just to cast alone as its made out of inconel.

Please let me know if there is anything in the future we can do to help and I really hope you enjoy your new kit! I enjoyed our conversation at the open house very much and hope to get to knock back a few beers with you next time I visit, I owe you that in the very least.

From Todd's post I think he's saying this is a prototype or beta kit of some sort so we won't be able to get into the power numbers right away. We should be able to start it off with kit component pics though and we can all discuss the engineering that went into each part until AWE is released.

I'm pretty sure component pics are available for VFE on their website. Not sure about AWE and Autospeed. We might need someone at ASP to supply some pics and Pure could snap some more of AWE's.

APR Stage 3 pics are readily available on our website and I can run down to production and get each individual component as well.

This is going to be an epic day, to be honest and a comparison by two of the biggest companies would greatly help the community. It was be great to see how both bt would run against each other and other aspects.
