    Stage 3 information

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I'm having some work done on my car and while its apart I am considering going stage 3. How much did anyone who did the stage 3 themselves end up paying including fueling etc...? I never planned on doing this but I have some extra money and I've become complacent with stage 2+. If you don't mind saying what you paid that would be great.

You can probably get the turbos for around $2500, fueling for around $1000-$1500 (lots of options here).

    Then you need intercoolers, etc..

    extremely horrible idea.

It's a total waste of money. Keep in mind that once you go stage 3 you will need to change your clutch shortly after that.

    So you need:
    KO4 turbos
    Inlets
    Fueling kit
    Intercoolers
    Clutch

etc, etc.. it goes on and on.

    Re: Stage 3 information

you could get all the parts for cheap but it may take some time just to find them, and there isnt any guarantee that anything wont fail, if your going to take out a loan just buy the kit from who ever you want, and fueling from who ever you want.

awe kit without the manifolds is 5750$ you get legit instructions and it all goes pretty smooth since you will have all the parts. and then again 1000-1500 for fueling kit
PS my AWE fueling kit is for sale lol PM me if you are interested

most likely a throttle body boot cause with the boost youll split the stock one, random intercooler hoses cause they will crack if the condition isnt so hot oh and dont forget the water pump and timing belt while its all out too lol
so id say with a 10g loan youd be set lol

    Re: Stage 3 information

I dropped about 10g's total on my stage 3 upgrade. That's parts and labor for full AWE fueling kit, K04's with inlets, RS4 clutch, resurfaced flywheel and all hardware for install of this stuff. Plus motor mounts, radiator, misc seals and a rental car for the 5 days she was down. It is a slippery slope my friend and I wouldn't recommend going deeper into debt for it.
