    I keep on reading threads where people suggest doing it as a way of blacking out the trim but i have yet to see pictures. Has anyone actually done it, or anyone have a link to someone who has w/ pics?

    Just saw this thread while browsing around these parts... That was my original thread and just wanted to say, feel free to PM me if you have any questions! Also, I found out last weekend that the vinyl does chip from rocks. I was driving through WV and apparently they use large rocks instead of salt or sand. I got a few rock chips in the vinyl around my grille, my painted rings, and my hood. Luckily, for the vinyl at least, you can just order more and lay it down overtop of the original and it looks good as new.

    yeah i think i am going to do this asap on the window trim...

    can someone post a link of the vinyl they used? Where do i buy it cant seem to find it on eGay
