Anyone in the Philly area or West Chester area have some time this weekend to help me reset an Air Bag light with Vag? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Re: Vag-Com near Philly

I'm near Doylestown. I was just doing a quick search for you and according to what I read, there is no magic switch when using the VAG-COM to reset the airbag light. Looks like there is a way to reset the airbag CEL (resistance too high) but if you have an issue with the wiring then it will come right back.

Here is an interesting article I found on diagnosing the airbag issue. I would suggest that you try to clean/fix the wires under your seat before resetting with a VAG-COM since it will just come right back.

Already checked and cleaned it, put it back in place...but obviously I can't clear it without a Vag or something advanced. Just want to try to clear it and see what happens from there.

Gotcha. We can probably meet up this weekend. Shoot me a PM and we can figure out a time. I'm basically free in the afternoon on Saturday or Sunday.
