    check engine light?

    so its icy out... and i hit a curb but no damage other than some curb rash on the right front wheel. but later when i drove down the street the check engine light started flashing and my car is running pretty rough. any ideas how to fix it???

    btw its a mostly stock b6 a4 fwd

    It's a coilpack.

    Pop open your hood, then twist off all 3 screws on the valve cover trim.

    After you do that, you'll see 4 wire harnesses going into your COILPACKs
    Use a flathead screwdriver to pop the plastic clip and remove the CP harness one at a time.

    With your engine running, you'll want to remove one CP harness at a time.
    Unplug, listen and watch.
    If your engine shudders when you remove it, then that CP is fine.
    if you remove the harness and you witness no change in the engine, then that one is the one that blew.
