    New Owner w/Questions

    I just purchased a (new to me) 2007 A4 2.0T Quattro. Love the car but have a few questions;

    Is there any way to click through the radio presets from the steering wheel?

    Is it normal for the engine to have clicking sound (similar to a diesel). The car has plenty of clean oil and only has 21,000 on the clock.

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Do you have an RSN-E? That is the unit with Navigation... If you do, I'm pretty sure if your favorites list is on the screen, you can scroll through them with your steering wheel controls.

    2. The FSI engine is known to sound like a diesel due to it's direct injection. It's normal.
    05.5 A4 2.0T Brilliant Red 6MT: Put some money and time into it...

    The only standing start, straight line racing I enjoy is on the way to the first corner.

    The Press the FM button so that it is not FM1 or FM2 but the third choice.
    Only one where you can scroll through the memory.

    FSI is a noisy bitch.

    It also vibrates hard when you're at the light. Very embarassing. My friend's civic is more quiet.

    LOL - yea, OP, you aren't the first to post with worries over engine noise that is, in fact, normal. You'll get used to it soon, unless it rattles slightly loose interior panels like mine does.

    Congrats on the new ride tho!

    Having owned a Civic for many years, that's the only time it's more quiet than the Audi. Trust me on this...

    Thanks for the quick replies. It doesn't have the nav unit so I'll try that. My wife has an Acura TSX that vibrates quite a bit at stoplights. Other than a few german car quirks, I absolutely love it!

    Thanks again.
