I had a local shop install them (Avalon Motorsport), they said they had to order a bit for it. You just pop off the rubber caps on the pedals and bolt these ones to the existing metal. I did not want them to be crooked so I just had someone else do it, was only 45$ though he said they should have charged me for an hour (90$) he had already quoted me at the 45$ I would recommend them to anyone who's looking to get new pedals they make heel-toe a little nicer too.

Hey I didnt authorize you to take pics of my pedals. JK I installed these very same pedals a few days ago and I meant to take pics. I was actually in PA and i drove to AWE and purchased a vagcom along with gunmental pedals. As long as youve got the correct tap sizes and drill bits its an easy install. Took me an hr to do outside in the cold.

Honestly $45 to do that isnt a bad deal... they are quite a headache to install if you don't have an angled drill. I found it very helpful to remove the lower dash bolster so that there is more room because I was using a normal hand drill and you cannot get it perpendicular to the pedal when drilling without removing that... which makes the bit slip around even if you've used a center punch to mark the spot.

The little rubber things fall out... I used to keep them in the door but gave up. Soon enough your pedals won't be so shiny and new anymore, they'll look like this! (its hard to see but they are pretty beat up after ~40,000 miles of use)

I have the AWE gunmetal pedals. They were a bit of a pain to install - ended up having to buy a better tap because my harbor freight one couldn't get through the metal brake pedal. The plastic clutch and accelerator pedals were easy.

I glued my rubber nubs in place before installing - I think that was recommended in the instructions.

Sorry, but I would be embarassed to ask someone to install pedals on my car, lol

They do look good though. I would be worried that my shoes would slip off (if it was wet/raining)

I am going to get RPI to install mine. Thing is, you need a Standard 10/32 Tap and most european car shops use Metric.

I'm not sure why AWE decided to use Standard...

Home Depot sells a package with a 10/32 tap and drill bit for around 6 bucks. If you have that and a drill you won't have any problems. Just remove the panel under the steering wheel.

This irked me as well but I think they decided to use and SAE thread because individual metric taps are hard to find, while individual SAE taps are cheap and plentiful.
