New B7 S4 owner

I recently picked up a 06 B7 S4 for 21K on the road. I decided it was time to depart with the B5 S4 wanted to move up. Sold that for 12k. And my payments on the new one are 250 a month. Its loaded with almost everything. Its silver,auto, navi, premium package. Has 60K on the clock, factory serviced. Still has the new car smell. Seats are like brand new.

Car is a blast to drive. Im gonna take some pics this weekend and put up.

Any suggestions for simple mods to do. Also what exhaust do you all like. Has anyone changed the start up screen to the S4 logo with the 08 navi disc, is that possible??

If it had 60000 miles, I'd be skeptical it was as high as 33, but who knows...

Congrats! Was it CPO or private sale? Only asking because you're already out of factory warranty with 60k.

I've never seen a 2006 listed at 21k. The cheapest I found was $25k with a billion miles.

It was on the lot for 22k and i got them to give it to me for 21 out the door with complete set of keys 2 masters and vallet also all weather matts, free first oil change, and fix the few things that didnt work ie the latch for the center console is broke and the cup holder in the rear arm rest doesnt come out.

Car is very nice handles very nice. They put new tires, front pads and rotors, rear pads and rotors to pass maryland state inspection.

I have a Euro RS4 gril on order. And with my taxes i think im gonna get an exhaust. What is the best sounding one for a B7 any suggestions

Go to youtube and search for s4 exhaust. It's all personal preference and how loud you want to go. Everyone here will tell you that their exhaust is the best (that's why they chose it) so you have to decide what sounds good to you and which one looks best to you as well.

What's a Euro RS4 grill?

Did you buy at an Audi dealer? Was it certified pre-owned? If not, you may want to look into getting an extended warranty.

Sorry i looked again at the RS4 grill and its the same euro as here i was a little tired yesterday lol. But yea bought it at a audi dealer. And dont need warrenty really I work on them myself. I worked on my B5 S4 myself also. I am a tech at a dealership so i have a lift and all that jazz. I might get a warrenty just for the sake of if something major goes wrong. But I never had any huge issues with my B5 S4. Ran like a champ. Biggest issue i had with that was the ABS module was bad. But i bought the car like that so.

But Yea I think Im liking the APR exhaust or the AWE but i would like to hear one in person.

as far as exhaust, they're all pretty good. I am all stock, but I like Milltek. Expensive, but subtle (yet still awesome)

go to an Audi get-together in your area, and just check everyone's exhausts. There should be a couple of B6/B7 S4s there.

Ahhh...ok. Only thing you have to worry about then is the cost for parts. You got a great deal!

As far as exhaust, I have the AWE resonated and I think it sounds perfect. I don't have a sound clip of my car, but AWE has a clip and mine sounds exactly like it. Turn up the volume when playing and enjoy.

just check the 'regional' section for MD meets. When you see someone post in the S4 section from your state, just introduce yourself and ask if they know of any (without sounding gay)

yea dont want to sound gay lol. but the vw people are pretty cool. my other friend that hangs out with all them too has a 08 A6 Avant. got that for same price as he bought his 06 A4 Sline for . He got Tboned in the a4 so he got a hook up on the A6 avant. got that for 43 out the door

Also the Hex usb will not work with this car i have to do the upgrade and get the Hex Can cable correct do do any sort of testing or what not ??
