For optimum performance the software must be coupled with GIAC Engine Software and Tiptronic Transmission. These tiptronic software upgrades increase shift speeds and are calibrated for higher torque levels

The firewall option actually allows you to put a password on your flashloader so that nobody else can change the settings but you. Those options are available for all the cars, not just the W8 and RS6. It's only listed twice because the RS6 has a different price spread for the options.
