    Sticky Clutch...Anyone else? DIY job?

Hey a newb here, tried searching but to no avail.
Just got my car back from some service was driving fine but now clutch feels sticky when I engage and release into gears. The sticky clutch feeling isn't as bad when I downshift but none the less not a good feeling . I was told that I may need to bleed my brakes. I'm very easy on the car so I'm not convinced I've worn the clutch out. Any help or ideas? Thank you!

It would be your clutch if RPMs shoot up when you press the gas, but the car does not accelerate. What kind of service was done? The clutch may just need to be bled.

MY RPM's don't shoot up at all and the gears grab just fine. As a whole the car drives perfectly besides that sticky feeling I mentioned. Oil change, secondary cooling pump, and cv boots was all that was done. Of course the car sat for a long time with the need for parts to be shipped, new years, and christmas break. How do I bleed the clutch? How on Earth is the clutch and brake system related if that's at all true?

Brake system and clutch share the same oil but bleeding brakes is not gonna help you. When you say sticky do you mean when you press the clutch it stays down? Try bleeding your slave if it does not help than replace it and go from there. If none of this helps than you probably have a clutch problem (your pressure plate) If you are not mechanicly inclined take it in to good shop and have them look at it.

It doesn't stay down it's more of a extra feeling through the pedal, it's not as smooth as it normally would feel. Are there instructions anywhere on this site for bleeding the slave?

Still not sure about this but I'll try to explain a little better this time.

Shift points feel fine and the clutch engages into gears as it normally does it does take more effort with my left foot to shift correctly and unless I have the clutch Fully mashed down at some points in the travel of the pedal I can feel vibrating through the pedal. It's a very difficult thing to describe so bare with me .
