Central Electronic Control Module...stealership is ripping me off HELP

Headlights wont turn off (unless parking lights are on), compass/autodim doesnt work, and a couple other minor things. Stealership says I need a brand new CECM and it will be $760 to get the part and install. I really don't have that kind of money for this problem, especially one as minor as this. I need some help guys, any input would be much appreciated. God damn stealership....

Do you have a VAG-COM? Can you access the coding information in the CECM? Are there any DTCs recorded? You can get a used module from an Audi recycler or on eBay for a lot less. I have a used "C" version if you can't find the same PN as the original.

I also have been searching for a cecm for a 2002 a4 with no luck! My wipers dont work from it and i had to run new wires/fuse/relay/switch off direct battery power so i could drive my car in snow/rain for the time being. If anyone know where to get one shout me a hooler!
