will 18x8 +45 offset wheels on a stock 08 S4? If I get spacers for them would 8mm or 10mm be a better look?

    Thanks...sorry for the newbie Q's.

A 10mm spacer will bring you to a ET35 which is
the offset that most people run on their aftermarket wheels for their s4.

Stock is +43 so I would think you'd be OK.

    Re: +45 offset

On an 8" wheel you can go more aggressive than 10mm, which would correlate to about +41 on an 8.5 width wheel. Still kind of set-in the fender. Honestly I'd just look for different wheels with more appropriate offset.

    Re: +45 offset

go more than 10, probably 15 mm all around is good. +35 on x8.5 is flush in front and tucked abotu 2-3 mm in back.

actually, being inset a ways inside the fender might be to your advantage in the winter. Keeps the winter slime from slinging down the side of you car.

    Re: +45 offset

thanks all for your input. I might just try to test fit the wheels to see if they will work, if not get some spacers so that they will clear the brakes.
