has your precat fallen apart and caused rattling and a whistling noise at all? did you just piggie them? my roommates car is whistling at light throttle, and under hard acceleration, it rattles. mine just had a broken hanger which was causing my rattle, its better now.

we were wondering if this has happened to any of you.

Whistling is probably the turbos, mine do just in vacuum. And the rattle is prob the heat shield,

its not that kind of whistle. its more like a mouse wheel screech kind of thing, hard to explain.

^^ Yeah, I lol. But I am trying to be helpful not a dueche. But, I did at my work (dealership) and forgot to bring a big drill bit with me so i ended up with the downpipe on the vise and a 2 lb hammer in one hand and 2 different sized large picks in the other. Oh and I had an air hose keeping air flow continuous from other end to keep precat remnants out of the cat. But definitely time consuming.

Has anyone ever looked up what the value of the stock cats are for the platinum? It just crossed my mind that it cold be a good way to pay for some after market DPs. I know cats are a pretty stolen item these days for that reason.
