Alignment at dealer, what specs?

I'm taking my car to the dealer for an alignment. My car is on stasis streetsports but stock it was on non sport suspension. The dealer told me it would be best to do the factory alignment specs and the stasis specs are hard to do. Should I just go ahead with the factory, or suggest S4 or rs4 numbers?

lol I didnt even know theres a choice, just go get an alignment. they should just be able to do it with any suspension...BUT i do know my alignment took extra time, prob an extra hr or 2 becuase i didnt get one right after my coils...
As soon as spring comes, new alignment for sure..and checking all balancing on rims/tires..

hmm thats interested. i need an alignment very soon since i just installed my suspension and im curious if i should recommend that they use certain specs

ive never heard of specs...theres only 1 right alignment, otherwise ive been boggled by this..

yeah this alignment shit is confusing me also


this is just a guess.. but i think there are specs that they put into the computer to start off with (which they look up based on what your car is), and then they go from there to adjust it and try and make it perfect.. (hence some people taking extra time because of a lowered car)

i think places like tires plus and firestones and other total car care places like that just put in your specs and thats it, regardless of whether its aligned well or not


but i really have no idea.. someone with more experience with this please chime in...

oh def true bout those shops...

I know my mechanic at the dealer I go to, and he spent extra time to make my alignment perfect, becuase it had alot of fixin'
