I want the license plate bulbs but im not sure which site to buy from and which ones are best. Im looking at the ones from 42draftdesign and they have only 4 led. im going to wire resistors into the lines so any suggestions on a brighter bulb i know some of u use 6 led or 9 led bulbs. i dont want it too bright. Any pics>?

    Re: led bulbs

I just got some from http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm They are the 39mm, 9 LED, Superwhites about 1/3 of the way down the page ($6.99 ea.). They are fully regulated, so no need for resistors and they don't throw any codes. Sorry I don't have any pics, but they seem to be a good bulb. At least for the week I have been using them.

    Re: led bulbs

I just ordered mine from 42draftdesigns and figured if it throws a bulb warning I'll get the resistors then. He said its a crapshoot with it whether or not you'll get a warning.

Being 9 LED's isnt it a little bright? that'd be 18LED's lighting up your licence plate, hahaha...

<--------yes, i used my audi to drag my deer out of the woods. it was heavy, i was cold, car had heat, much less work, and frankly, it was far. the deer was big, i am not, just seemed like the right thing to do. if it werent for the apr2+ i may not have been able to pull that monstrosity out of the woods w/out a helicoptor. i cant afford a helicoptor, i have a hard enough time affording my audi. all this being said, yes. that is an apr2+ awd audi pulling a deer out of the woods.

    Re: led bulbs

autoillumination it was the 9led bulb. No error codes no flickering. the 9 led is freakin bright as hell though i like it though cuz when u pull up next to lexus and bmws carrying those lights mine just look way nicer cuz they give off a litter more light. By the way my front door neighbor has a new 5series coupe and he has the led lights underneather his doorhandles it looks very nice. anyone ever thought of doing this and if so how to go bout it?
