    Relocated SAI now noticably louder

    Anyone have any recs? I never heard it before and now it is very noticeable vacuum noise.

    yea i did for mine also with the ER FMIC, and its loud as hell. just check to make sure the snorkles are on good.

    My friend's '01 A4 sounds like a jet engine on start-up. Its the SAI pump for some reason. Been doing that since 10k miles (has 150-160k now). I never looked into it in depth. We just dealt with it.


    The short answer to all your problems is remove the SAI and get the cold start maps re-coded. It cleans up your engine bay and any A4 not running factory software will run rich on cold start anyway so still having SAI is a waste.
