    New S5 just arrived

After 5.5 months wait, my S5 has finally arrived. I will be picking it up this afternoon. Ibis white, Auto with all options. Can't wait to get behind the wheel.
Yes, I opted for the Auto, but I really preferred manual. Nevertheless with the big 4.2 V8 the auto should perform just as good.

Congrats! S5's usually take between 10-12 months from order time to delivery. You did well at it being just 5.5 months. They are great cars you are really going to enjoy it.

    Re: New S5 just arrived

This thing is almost scary. Everyone stops to check it out. People take a double and give you the thumbs up! I am going to post pics this evening. V8 is definitely the way to go. I am not sure if the V6 is going to hold up to reputation of the original S5.

    Re: New S5 just arrived

If the 3.0T V6 is lighter, faster, and more powerful everywhere except those last 500rpm or so...i don't think it will have trouble holding the S5 reputation. However the V8 sound is something you cannot replicate.

I'm kind of shocked every is saying auto is the best way to go with the S5. Sure it is a pretty big coupe, but an 'S' car an manual just go together.

    Enjoy the S5.
