no. no dealer. private seller. one owner. no warranty issues. perfect showroom condition. he's my cousin and needs out of the car for personal reasons. he's willing to sell for 50K or best offer.

actually, he's going into a R8. dealer is lowballing him on the S5 and, although he doesn't care because he can take the loss, he and i are a audi afficionados and on principle would prefer to give the opportunity to someone who would love an S5, but only have A5 money to spend. even then he's practically not losing any money.

re: passat and S4. two are better than one, i suppose.

Used car values are horrible right now, just this past week two S5's, the higher mileage car had 8k miles on it, both sold at Auction for over 10k less than your trying to get. Im guessing the dealer is offering him something in the 39-40k range, 42k tops trade in?

likely those auction cars had some asterisk attached to them to go that low- unless a straight up repo. i think he's going to simply trade it in. no biggie. his new car gets in this wknd.
