Pulsating

The Dome lights, Gauges, I notice when I’m backing up the lights are pulsating. The battery was tested. Nothing else seems wrong with the car. I could start the car a week later with out it running and it would fire right up. It’s like the car is getting surges of power. When I’m sitting in traffic that when I notice the gauges the most. You have to really stare at them and then you will notice the pulsating in the light. I’m stumped.

Is it a continuous thing, or something that just happens occasionally? What I've noticed on my other cars is when certain components come on - say, the A/C, more power is drawn from the care, causing a quick "pulse like" look. If it happens continuously, I'd say it could be some sort of electrical issue.

man, my a4 is having the same problem. ONLY when I open my doors though. My dome light pulsates on and off.
But my car is having electrical problems either way :[

Again, more detail. Approximate frequency? All the time or not?
Big amps would be obvious but you would have spotted that one.

When I put the car in drive and its all the fucking time. I cant take it. I brought it to the dealer and they said we dont see anything. I went straight to the back to see the tech myself and duplicated the problem and you know what he tells me. I checked your battery and everything looks fine, what do you want me to do. If it gets worse bring it by again. Im so sick of audi. Trust me Im not one piss off. They hate me so much at Town motors that they dont even look at my face when they speak to me. They really dont know what to do with me. I get in the service managers face all the time, make a sence but they dont really seem to care. Its funny how you spend all this money for such a nice car and for what. I bought an A4 from them couple years back and I dont know why I still go there but I have to look for another place to go. I think Im going to look into buying a GMC Yukon for now and buy the new mustang when it comes out.

I'm sorry, I've been frustrated before too with a lot of service people (not the Audi folks, however), but if you act like a jerk, I'm not surprised they don't want to help you out.

Not acting like a jerk. They got me to that point. and if you had to put up with that bullshit you would do the same. only so much you can put up with.
