question about '96 a4 options

Did the 1996 A4 come with the option of having gold emblems? My friends bought a trunk lid from a junk yard and all the emblems and lock are gold, looks great on a pearl trunk, but I never knew this was available, or did the previous owner have it done professionally?

well... my buddy has a 96 a4 as well. I think its around that lear at least. And he has gold emblems too. The kid is a douche though. If there were one way to ruin a nice car... he did it. The car is pretty much perfect... besides the auto tranny and 18inch wanna be 50 cent rims. They look like they fell out of a cows ass and someone painted em chrome!

As fas the the emblems go though... I think they came on certain years....
