so i let my buddy take my car down the street frm the hotel and park the car in a free zone and he calls and says that the car ran out of gas. i say no problem so he goese down to the gas station gets gas and puts in the car next day i get my keys walk down to my car get in everything seems great turn on my car and get the CEL...........eeek. im pissed i start intarigating him asking what the hell he was doing with my car blah blah he says nothing so im in shock

the car seemed to be driving normal until i shifted into third gear the car seemed to jerk as if i skiped from second gear into fifth with out speeding up u kno! also on some idles the car seems rougher than usual and sometimes normal. i was wondering if there was anyone who could help in what i should do and if it is possible to check if it may be belt fluid coilpakcs ect.

The diesel nozzle shouldn't fit in the tube (but my wife somehow managed it in a 200 Camry several years ago).

Ah, but if it ran out of gas he would have put the fuel into a container to bring back to the car.....

The question is, was the car really low on gas or did your friend think it was sputtering out when the cause was something else (like a coilpack)?
